Information you share

If you send a booking enquiry, we receive your name, postcode, email address, phone number and any fireplace details, preferred dates or message you provide. If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any details or attachments you choose to include. This may include your name, postcode and information about your fireplace or stove. Please only send information relevant to your enquiry.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, discuss service suitability and, where appropriate, take steps towards arranging an appointment at your request. We may retain relevant correspondence to manage the enquiry and follow up on agreed arrangements.

Service providers and retention

Business email is provided through Microsoft 365. Our website hosting provider may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the site. We do not sell enquiry information.

Booking enquiries are delivered to our business inbox through Resend. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the booking form to help prevent automated spam. This security check processes technical browser and connection information and works independently of your optional analytics choice. We keep correspondence only for as long as needed for the enquiry, any resulting service and applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact us if you would like to know how long we keep information relating to your enquiry or appointment.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 only if you select “Accept analytics”. It helps us understand which pages visitors use and whether they follow booking, telephone or email links, so we can improve the website. Rejecting analytics does not affect your access to the site or our services.

Before you accept, we do not load Google Analytics or set its cookies. If you accept, Google processes information about your visits, such as page paths, device and browser information and interactions with these links. Analytics cookies, including _ga and cookies beginning_ga_, help distinguish browsers and visits. Our configuration sets their expiry to up to 180 days and disables advertising signals. We do not send enquiry messages, email subjects, telephone numbers or email addresses in our custom click events.

Your consent is the basis for this optional analytics processing. Google may process analytics information outside the UK. SeeGoogle’s Privacy Policyand how Google uses information from sites that use its servicesfor more information.

Changing your cookie preference

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to accept or reject analytics. We store your choice in your browser’s local storage for 180 days so you do not need to choose on every visit. This preference does not track you. Clearing browser storage or using another browser will require a new choice. If storage is blocked, your choice may last only for the current page.

If you withdraw consent, we stop future analytics tracking and remove Google Analytics cookies accessible to this website where practical. Withdrawal does not undo information already sent while consent was active. A booking provider or private preview platform may have its own privacy and cookie arrangements.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us to ask about your personal information or request access, correction or deletion. Other rights may apply depending on the circumstances, including restriction, objection and data portability. We’ll explain any limits that apply to your request.
